A Little About Me

I'm just an average working stiff, like most of you. But my passions are playing drums, building computers and cgi.

As a kid I was fascinated by the special effects in the movies. My best friend and I would "create" our own special effects and imitate whatever we had seen in the latest flick. I'm sure we seemed like a couple of miniature "Rob Zombies". God Bless my parents for their tolerance and understanding!

Into my teens my creativity turned to oil painting. Especially sci-fi space scenes. Later I discovered computers and spent several years as a professional builder and sales associate for a local distributor. That gave me a great opportunity to stay on the cutting edge of hardware and software. So I began creating my art using computers instead of paint brushes. The rest, as they say, is history.

I am experienced in both Photoshop and a variety of 3D modeling techniques, my talents include;

  • Conceptional art design.
  • Photo restoration, enhancement and alteration.
  • Creating DVD photo/video albums.
  • Logo design and layout.
  • Digital modeling and FX filters.
  • Airbrush and photography.

My influences include: Ralph McQuarrie, Syd Mead, Hugh Syme, Christophe Huet, and many a copy of Heavy Metal magazine.

I am also an avid drummer, roller coaster fanatic, and according to my 11 year old daughter, a pretty kick ass dad.
